Height 305 to 610 cm, width up to 365 cm. Tall, hardy, climbing, thornless (or almost) shrub with large, glossy, light green foliage blooms once – in spring or in summer. Blossoms violet with white stripes and center, yellow stamens, small to medium, semi-double, arranged in large clusters. Moderate, green apple, lily of the valley fragrance. Resistant to diseases, shade tolerant. Bred by Johann Christoph Schmidt in Germany, before 1909.
