Height 50-70 cm, width 50 cm. Upright shrub with semi-shiny, dense foliage blooms in waves throughout the season. Blossoms large, full, brick-red, mostly borne solitary. Odorless. Good disease and rain resistance, but this rose does not like the midday sun – the flowers can burn out and change color, so it should be planted in a place where it receives the morning or afternoon sun. Great for cut flower. Spontaneous mutation of the rose 'Leonidas'. Discovered by Alain Meilland in France, 1994.
